REN: Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask

I have adored REN skincare for a long time, I really love their 'Clean Skincare' philosophy.  So often you can use beauty products and not actually know what is inside them, with REN my mind is always at rest as I know their products will never contain any synthetic ingredients or nasties.

One of my favourite products from the range is the 'Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask', this is a potent exfoliating mask with four different types of acid which promises to leave the skin looking brighter, healthier and more radiant.

It is aimed at all skin types (except for extremely sensitive) and works by removing your dead skin cells to renew the complexion and to combat congestion, blackheads and blemishes.

The product itself is bright yellow in colour and has the consistency of treacle or very thick jam, this smears across your skin very smoothly and doesn't feel uncomfortable when on the skin at all.

The packaging does warn that a slight tingling sensation may appear during an application of the mask, but this isn't something that I have felt myself. I would say it almost feels like a warming sensation on the face, as opposed to a painful tingle.

You leave the mask on for 10 minutes, I usually do this whilst I am relaxing in the bath, the smell of the mask is so heavenly so it really helps me to unwind. After 10 minutes just run a muslin cloth under warm water and remove the mask.

You do have instant results as soon as you take off the mask, this is something that is extremely rare with beauty products, it always leaves my skin looking more plumped and hydrated.

I suffer from quite dry skin and sometimes my make up can look dull and cakey on my skin, I have found this mask really does help at injecting some radiance back into my skin and helps keep my dry patches at bay.

This is definitely one of my favourite face masks around and it's not too pricey at £32 for a 50ml tube!

This is definitely something I would re-purchase again and again. Make sure you look out for REN skincare in your local Marks and Spencer as they have recently brought the line into their beauty department.
