The fuss free way to clean your make up brushes...

When it comes to cleaning make up brushes, I am one of the many people who just hates doing it. I really dislike everything about it, from getting your hands dirty, to the inconvenience of not being able to use my brushes for hours on end waiting for them to dry!

It must be one of the most mundane tasks in the world to do but it is one that must be carried out, let me just give you a quick reminder why. Not washing your brushes is one of the main ways that bacteria can be spread to your skin, which in time will make more and more spots start to appear....this is definitely something that no one wants!

For a little while I have been on the look out for a way to make this boring task slightly easier and less time consuming and well to be honest...less boring. I think I may have found something that just does the trick.

I picked up this 'Beauty Blender - Solid Bleandercleanser' in Selfridges for £14 about a month ago and have loved using it ever since.

Although this is marketed for 'Beauty Blenders' this can also be used on regular make up brushes and really does a fantastic job.

This is a soap-like bar that is ideal for quick fixes and great for spot cleaning.

You simply run your brushes under the tap to get them wet and swirl your brush into the hard soap, your brush will then lather up, then just rinse your brushes well under the tap again and voila your brushes are clean!

It has a lovely lavender fragrance which leaves your brushes smelling fresh, clean and almost good as new!

This is the perfect lazy girls way of cleaning your make up brushes....it is slightly gimmicky, but I am a sucker for gimmicks and will most definitely be repurchasing this again when it runs out!
